How many times did you spend hours together in kitchen on what to cook? Or how many times you wondered that you ran short of some ingredients that you need for a specific recipe? Many times isn’t it?

We can do this better! Baby Steps my Gal!
You can get organised with simple steps. It will not take more than 30 minutes of your weekend. All you have to do is, download our FREE Monthly Meal Planner printable (It is diamond theme girl! Few things to consider before filling Monthly Meal Planner Printable:
- Quantity you need to prepare
- Type of foods you are choosing in a day
- How many meals you are planning for a day
- Special menu days
Quantity of Food You Need to Prepare
Thinking about quantity is important before adding it to the meal plan. Because, we are planning our meals much ahead of time to save time. If you are planning for a meal which takes around 2 hours to prepare on Monday morning is waste of time. Oh…those..Monday…BLUES… So You need to pick recipes which takes less time when you will be in hurry and at what time of day you want to prepare these foods. Let’s say you want to label it for Lunch or Dinner. I recommend downloading our FREE Recipe Binder Printable and write down all your favourite recipes in one place with preparation time and ingredients. This way, you can always look at your recipe binder and choose meals based on preparation time and ingredients.
Type of Foods You are Choosing in A Day
Another important aspect is choosing balance in your diet. You don’t want to fill up all your meals with fast foods or fried recipes. At the same time, you can’t eat healthy foods for entire life without cheat days. Give yourself a break in between to keep up with your momentum. Choose your cheat day of the week to give yourself freedom and enjoy your treats! Plan your days maintaining ratio for protein, veggies and carbs. Try to eat less sugar and choose recipes that take relatively less time to prepare so that you can enjoy 10 more minutes of sleep!
How Many You are Planning for A Day
You can’t deny this factor. If you are anything like me, you will be hungry after every 2 hours. How do you cope with that? I’m sure you don’t want to end up cooking recipes for lifetime. At the same time you don’t want to prepare a truck load of lasagna and store it in your freezer. Choose easy and quick recipes which adds variety to your menu and decide how many meals you want to prepare for a day. Yes, you can absolutely have fries in between meals but here we are just planning the ideal menu where you might be planning 4 meals or some other number!
Special Menu Days
I want my menu to be special every week so that I can eat a ton of desserts and look at my belly like Winnie The Pooh! But here Special Menu means, any family gatherings you are planning for or any special days like birthdays, anniversaries etc. For these days, you ideally need to plan for A Special Menu to treat your guests while keeping an eye on your bank account 😉 So if it is there, make sure to choose your special menu for that day!

The final step is to identify what groceries you need to shop for a week ahead. I don’t recommend shopping and storing vegetables for more than a week. Eat Fresh and Stay Fresh! Again, it’s upto you if you want to shop for entire month at a time. Feel free to download our FREE Grocery Shopping List and start writing down the items you need to shop.
We are Done Planning Girl! Go ahead and Shop!
