Ever felt overwhelmed with all the work you have to handle yourself? Going errands and jumping from task to task and not completing any? Tired of reading all those articles on internet about planning and organisation? A common Weekly Planner to fit everyone’s need? Let’s agree to this point. “Same plan will not fit everyone.”
Every person has different needs when comes to organisation. Some people will love to follow the exact plan given by someone else while many wants to plan tasks to their convenience. You can get organised in both ways, all you have to do is stick to one plan. Concentrate only on next step not on the entire scenario.
Concentrating only on next step will reduce a lot of anxiety for many. It doesn’t require you to look at the end result.
All you have to be worried about is concentrate on one single baby step you are doing right now.
Results will follow when you complete all the baby steps.
You can plan one day at a time or month at a time. If you are super organised you can plan entire year at once! But you need to test it out.
At what level are you comfortable planning your life or biz? Is it one day or one week?
If you are messy and cannot follow planners at all and want to get organized, I suggest you to try planning one day at a time. Plan your day a night before. By this you know exactly what things you need to complete in a day. More on that in my FREE Daily To Do List Printable post. Make sure to check out that page and follow the instructions given there. Do let me know, if it worked for you!
Let’s discuss about a step further on planning a week ahead. This is suggested for those who are used to a bit organising and planning tasks. The Weekly Planner Printable will leave you the space for each day where you can add your tasks. Make sure to add high level tasks and download Daily To Do List for detail tasks. One Weekly planner printable and 7 Daily To Do lists will save you for a week.
Don’t go harsh on yourself. For a healthy life, you need time to socialise, play around or workout and a work to pay your bills. If you are working 18 hours a day for a month you are ultimately busting cortisol and also burning out yourself. Take breaks. Plan a day off on your schedule. Try a new hobby or sport. You live only once. Don’t let your life filled only with work and no fun.
Understand that every persons journey is different. Don’t compare your beginning with someone’s middle! Don’t do that. But make sure to progress! Focus on what you want to become or how you want your life to be. Take baby steps to reach that goal.
One step at a time!
Just write down one little thing that you can change today that will move a step closer to what you want to become. Add those things you have jotted down on to this weekly planner and try to achieve them every single day. No excuses! Little things matter in long run!
That’s all for now. Download the printable and use it for a week or two. Let me know how it worked for you!
